Library Rozet

The social centre of Arnhem the Rozet also includes a library, where you can study or work. It has the advantage that, even if you study there the whole day, it does not cost anything. Typical for a library the décor is modest with a lot of books. Therefore, it is perfect for people, who would get easily distracted in a café. It is a very quiet place and the seats close to the big stairs also have a socket. If you are in need for some caffeine to boost your energy that is no problem either. In the ground floor is a café where you can buy a coffee to go. In the summer you can also go to the top floor and enjoy the weather as well as the view over Arnhem while studying/ working on the terrace.

Mams Coffee & More

Mams is in view of the bus station Willemsplein. It is perfect for people seeking a cosy small place to work/ study. Particular about this place, are the various unique coffee and cake flavours like the stroopwaffle-Latte or the Red velvet cake. So, if you ever crave for something sweet while working, I can highly recommend ordering a piece of cake!

The Workstation

More or less opposed to Mams is The Workstation, which is created for the purpose to work outside of the office. It offers a lot of space with sockets nearby every seat. The vibe is more business in comparison to a regular café. Thus, it is suitable for people, who need the business vibe at the place to study/ work effectively. Since the place makes only benefit with the ordered drinks, make sure to order enough compared to your stay.

First Eet

The inconspicuous outside can deceive visitors because the inside is super cosy and unique with for example wing chairs. It is well-lit due to numerous Lamps and daylight flooding from the window in the ceiling. The staff is super friendly and if you are getting hungry I can highly recommend the Tostis. The café does catering as well, so it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

First Eet is closed on Monday and Tuesday, it’s open on Wednesday from 12 AM to 5 PM, Thursday for 10 AM to 5pm and on Fridays as well as Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Posse Espressobar

Another good place to study / work is the Posse Espressobar nearby the Arnhem railway station, which is offering classical Italien coffee. It is a small and calm corner café. Because a lot of people buy their coffee to go, there is always a seat free for you. Barista Pedro is also active in Arnhem Art and collaborates with artists such as Dopie. They are responsible for many of the colourful murals in Arnhem.

Restaurant Dudok

The restaurant is so large that there is always a place to work/ study. On the walls, you can see art, which changes from time to time. If you come in the morning it is very likely you can get a window seat.

Focus Filmtheater

This restaurant is located next to the Focus cinema and it flooded by daylight due to the external wall, which consists out of glass. Thus, it is very modern and especially popular are the seats outside in the summer season. It is offering coffee, lunches, snacks and dinners.

Café Caspar

Especially convenient for night owls because it the place, which is opened the longest in this list and I guess in whole Arnhem. The interior is modern and invites to stay. It is located a bit outside the city at the fashion district Klarendaal. From the city, it is easily reached by foot.

De Buutplek

You are searching for a place in Arnhem- South? Then this de Buutplek might be suitable for you. The work location is a modern and vintage decorated restaurant located in the Stikkerbuilding, Gelderse Poort in Arnhem. Walk in for a cup of coffee, have a nice lunch, or use the restaurant as a workplace, meeting point or meeting place.
